August Fortner

August is the well-paid personal assistant of Evander Lane-Pierce, often managing both his business dealings and keeping his affairs at home in order. He's incredibly efficient, the sort of guy who was always top of his class in school and seems to have everything in order. He has very few friends outside of work and tends to live his life on call. His job takes up almost all of his free time, but he doesn't really know what to do when he's not on the grind.

Augie is typically nervous and fidgety without something to occupy himself with. He's prone to twirling any pen he's holding or tapping the lid of his drink cup with his fingers; his nails are cut short and any jewelry he's wearing is likely to get twisted unless it's fitted just right. He's impossibly well-organized, often to an uncomfortable degree. People who know and love him would describe him as a well-meaning control freak.

August can barely see without his glasses, and he has more than one backup pair of the frames that he favors.

He's soft spoken and prefers not to make phone calls (though he's perfectly capable of it), but he writes an excellent email.
